Brenda MooreMy name is Brenda Moore. I was born in Jackson MS, to James and Mattie Brown.

I have 9 siblings, 2 children and 5 grandchildren. I have been a resident of Dayton for 61 years. I am currently the Vice Chair Woman of the Northwest Priority Board and a member of the Board, since 1999. I am a retiree of Department of Defense, retired after 41 years of service, of which 25 years were here in Dayton, Ohio and 16 years in Columbus, Ohio.

I have been a part of community development and diversity during the past 16 years. I have worked with various agencies non-profit and for-profit to improve community relationships and increased venues for the residents to attain a better quality of life in their neighborhoods.

I am a member of my church for 37 years and also their Assist Pastor. I am a Sunday School Superintendent, member of the Missionary Circle, and Director of the Bible School programs.

My other interest include participating in the North Central Land Use Board, Northern Hill Neighborhood Association, serving as DCRN treasurer, and working other community groups.

My all-time leisure interest is my vast reading pleasures.
